GT Extensions for FluentCart Licensing and Updates
The GT Extensions license connects your installation to its update and support entitlement. Activate it from the License tab in FluentCart → GT Extensions.
Keep license administration separate from module setup. A license status does not select checkout designs, configure currencies or enable every module.
Activate a License
Copy the key from your purchase account, enter it in License and use Activate License. Check the returned status before assuming activation succeeded.
- Valid means the installation has a valid activated license.
- Inactive means it has not been activated for this installation.
- Expired means you need to renew the entitlement for continued updates and support.
- Invalid, disabled or activation-limit errors require the corresponding account or key issue to be resolved.
Do not post a license key in a public support discussion. Use the product’s private support route when account details are needed.
Receive Updates
The plugin integrates with WordPress’s normal update screen when the license qualifies. Check for Updates requests a fresh update check; it does not install the update automatically.
Before replacing a working installation, keep a backup and review changes that affect your checkout. If you receive a ZIP directly, upload it through WordPress’s normal plugin replacement flow. A private test ZIP and the production update channel are separate distribution routes.
Move an Installation
Use Deactivate License before moving a license from a site you no longer use, then activate the key on the intended installation according to the account’s allowance. Deactivating a license is different from deactivating the WordPress plugin.
The module code is not disabled merely because the license has expired. The license governs update and support access; keep the store maintained rather than treating an expired entitlement as a reason to ignore compatibility and security updates.
Resolve Common Problems
Check the exact message shown in License.
- Key rejected: copy the complete key and check that it belongs to this product.
- Activation allowance reached: review existing activations in the purchase account.
- Connection failure: check that the server can make the required outbound HTTPS request.
- No update appears: confirm the license is valid and use Check for Updates before assuming a newer package is available.
- Update fails: retain the existing working package and check WordPress’s filesystem and download error before retrying.
See installation for the initial setup and the settings dashboard for module controls.
