Made for Selling Software

A software site has one job: show the product and earn the signup. Hassium’s front page opens on a clear promise with the product right under the buttons, then answers a buyer’s questions in the order they come up: what it does, who uses it and what it costs.

  • Pricing tables for one, two or three plans, plus a full feature comparison.
  • A changelog, a roadmap and customer stories that show a product still moving.
  • Activating the theme creates nothing in your database and changes no settings.

Swap in your own screenshots, plan names and prices, and the pages are ready for launch day.

Choose Your Design

Start with Cobalt, or pick another design under Styles in the Site Editor. Each one changes the brand color and the ground, and your content stays where you put it.

The three heading presets work with any design. Serif headings sets every heading in Hedvig Letters Serif, Sans headings uses Inter, and Serif display keeps the serif for the two largest sizes. Both fonts ship with the theme.

Every Page a Product Site Needs

Most software sites need the same handful of pages, and building them one section at a time eats the week before launch. Hassium includes seven full page layouts. Insert one into an empty page and change the words.

Hassium builds every pattern from WordPress core blocks, so your content stays editable if you change themes later. Only the styling follows the new theme.

Edit the Whole Site

You can change the header, the footer and every template in the Site Editor, and build new pages from the included patterns without a page builder.

Keep Fonts on Your Site

Hassium bundles Inter and Hedvig Letters Serif, so both fonts load from your own domain.

Start with Less Code

Hassium’s stylesheets add up to about 46 KB, and block styles load only on pages that use those blocks. The theme ships no JavaScript of its own.

Make It Your Own

  1. Download the theme

    Get the ZIP straight from this page. There’s no checkout or signup.

  2. Install it in WordPress

    Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme. Choose the ZIP, install it and activate it.

  3. Make the front page yours

    Open Appearance → Editor and change the headline, the screenshot and the buttons. The pricing patterns take your own plan names and prices.

Before You Install

Hassium 0.1.0 is a first release, so it is wise to try it on a staging site with your own content and plugins before you switch a live site.

  • Requires WordPress 7.0 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer.
  • It is a theme for your marketing site. There are no WooCommerce templates, and no sign-in, billing or account screens for your app.
  • The Front Page template takes precedence over a static homepage. Edit or delete that template in the Site Editor to use your own page.

The pricing tables are layouts, not a checkout. Point each button at your signup or billing page, and add a form plugin if you want a working contact form.

The complete Hassium SaaS theme is free under GPL-2.0-or-later. Download it, make it yours and use it on as many sites as you need.
