Posts hold a table’s placement. Core Tables holds the dataset, its draft history, and the public version your readers see.

- Start with a blank grid, import CSV, or convert a single HTML table. A core Table block can be converted when you enable that action.
- Publish only what belongs in public
- Choose public columns explicitly. Private cells stay out of visitor HTML, search, charts, and the public API.
- Edit without replacing the live version
- Save a draft, review it, and publish when ready. Restore a revision or recover a dataset from Trash.
- Use the editor you already use
- Insert Core Table or Core Chart blocks. Classic themes can use

Google Sheets sync, line charts, and automatic full-page cache purging are not included. If a page cache holds old HTML after publishing or trashing, purge that page’s cache.

Does Core Tables require a block theme?
No. Use its blocks in the Block Editor or the [coretable id=123] shortcode in a classic theme.
Do I need Core Forms or an AI service?
No. Core Tables stands alone. AI abilities and MCP are optional, permission checked, and disabled for MCP until an administrator opts in.
What if I disconnect my license?
Your installed tables keep working. The license controls protected plugin updates and support.
