Nexcess Coupon Code 2026: Liquid Web Discounts & Promo Codes

Nexcess no longer exists as an independent brand. In October 2025, Liquid Web fully absorbed Nexcess into its platform. The nexcess.net website now redirects to liquidweb.com. The managed WordPress, WooCommerce, and Magento hosting plans you knew as “Nexcess” are still available, same infrastructure, same features, just sold under the Liquid Web name.

If you landed here searching for a Nexcess coupon code, the old codes (EARLYBF24A, BF24SALE5MO) expired in December 2024. This page now tracks the current Liquid Web discounts that apply to the same managed hosting plans Nexcess used to sell.

Current Liquid Web (formerly Nexcess) discounts in April 2026

Liquid Web runs two types of promotions on the managed WordPress plans that used to be Nexcess: seasonal sales and evergreen discounts on annual billing. Here is what’s available right now.

Discount typeSavingsHow to get itAvailability
Annual billing discountUp to 75% off first 3 monthsSelect annual billing at checkout. No code needed.Always active
Spring sale33-50% off first termAuto-applied through this linkSeasonal (typically March-May)
Black Friday / Cyber MondayUp to 75% off 4 monthsPromo codes released in NovemberLate November each year
New Year sale40-60% off first termAuto-applied at checkoutJanuary

The deepest discount of the year is always Black Friday. In 2024, the code EARLYBF24A gave 75% off four months on monthly plans. The 2025 BFCM code followed the same pattern. When the 2026 Black Friday codes drop, I will update this page within 24 hours.

Managed WordPress hosting plans and pricing (2026)

These are the same plans Nexcess sold, now under the Liquid Web brand. Pricing below reflects regular rates before any seasonal discount.

PlanSitesStorageBandwidthMonthly price
Spark115 GB2 TB$19
Spark+325 GB2.5 TB$43
Maker540 GB3 TB$79
Designer1060 GB4 TB$109
Builder25100 GB5 TB$149
Producer50300 GB5 TB$299
Executive100500 GB10 TB$549
Enterprise250800 GB10 TB$999

All plans include auto-updates for WordPress core and plugins, daily backups stored for 30 days, free SSL, built-in CDN with 22+ PoPs, image compression via TinyPNG, iThemes Security Pro, one-click staging, and visual regression testing. The difference between tiers is sites, storage, and PHP workers.

With annual billing and first-term promotional pricing, the Spark plan drops to roughly $5 per month for the first three months. That is the “$5.25/month” number you see quoted on coupon sites. After the promo period, it reverts to $19/month (or the annual equivalent).

How to apply a Liquid Web coupon code

The process hasn’t changed since the Nexcess rebrand. Here is how it works in 2026.

  1. Visit Liquid Web managed WordPress hosting through the discount link.
  2. Pick a plan (Spark for one site, Maker if you run up to five).
  3. Choose monthly or annual billing. Annual billing automatically unlocks the deepest discount and no code is needed.
  4. If you have a specific coupon code (usually during Black Friday), paste it in the “Promo Code” field on the checkout page.
  5. Complete payment. The discount applies to the first billing cycle only. Renewals are at regular price.

Most seasonal discounts are auto-applied through affiliate links, so you won’t need to enter a code at all. If the discount doesn’t show at checkout, clear your browser cookies and click the link again.

What happened to Nexcess? The Liquid Web merger explained

Nexcess was a managed hosting provider founded in 2000, known for WordPress and Magento hosting. Liquid Web acquired Nexcess in 2019 as a subsidiary brand focused on managed application hosting. In February 2024, Liquid Web announced a full brand merger. By October 7, 2025, the merge was complete. nexcess.net now 301-redirects to liquidweb.com.

What this means for you as a customer:

  • Existing Nexcess customers still log in at my.nexcess.net. That portal didn’t change.
  • Hosting infrastructure, server locations, PHP workers, and CDN PoPs are identical to what Nexcess ran.
  • Billing, contracts, and service terms didn’t change. Your old Nexcess renewal price is honored.
  • New customers buy from liquidweb.com. The plan names (Spark, Maker, Designer, Builder, etc.) are the same.
  • Old “Nexcess” coupon codes from 2024 and earlier no longer work. New promos use Liquid Web branding.

If you were a Nexcess customer and didn’t receive a migration email, reach out to Liquid Web support directly. Your account data and hosting are still intact.

Why choose Liquid Web managed WordPress hosting

I have hosted three client projects on the Nexcess (now Liquid Web) Maker plan since 2022. The stack is genuinely managed, not “managed” in the way budget hosts use the word. Here is what that means in practice.

  • Auto-updates with visual regression testing. When WordPress pushes a core or plugin update, Liquid Web applies it on staging, takes before/after screenshots, and alerts you if the layout breaks. I have caught two theme conflicts through this system that would have hit production on any other host.
  • Built-in CDN. 22+ edge locations. No Cloudflare or Bunny configuration required. On my Maker plan, TTFB from Europe drops to ~120ms from the US-East origin.
  • iThemes Security Pro included. Brute force protection, two-factor auth, file change detection, and malware scanning. One fewer plugin to buy.
  • Plugin performance monitor. Liquid Web flags slow plugins before they crater your PageSpeed score. This caught a broken WP Forms query on a client site that was adding 800ms to admin load.
  • Staging in one click. Real one-click staging, not the “clone then wait 20 minutes” variety. Staging pushes to production selectively (files, database, or both).

The gap between Liquid Web managed hosting and a $5/month shared host is the gap between a car and a bicycle. If your site makes money, the Spark plan at $19/month is a rational investment. If you are running a personal blog with 500 visits a month, it is probably overkill.

How it compares to Kinsta, WP Engine, and Cloudways

Managed WordPress hosting is a crowded space. Here is how Liquid Web (the Nexcess plans) stacks up against the three other hosts I have used on client projects.

FeatureLiquid Web (Nexcess)KinstaWP EngineCloudways
Starting price$19/month (Spark)$35/month (Starter)$25/month (Startup)$14/month (Vultr HF)
Sites on entry plan111Unlimited
CDN includedYes (22+ PoPs)Yes (Cloudflare Enterprise)Yes (Global Edge)Add-on ($4.99)
Auto plugin updatesYes (with visual testing)NoYes (Smart Plugin Manager)No
StagingOne-clickOne-clickOne-clickOne-click
iThemes Security ProIncludedNoNoNo
PHP workers (entry)1024Unlimited (Vultr)

Kinsta is faster out of the box because of Cloudflare Enterprise routing. WP Engine is the best pick if you are already in the StudioPress/Genesis ecosystem. Cloudways is cheaper and more configurable but is not managed, you handle updates yourself. Liquid Web sits in the sweet spot: truly managed, more PHP workers than Kinsta on the entry tier, and cheaper than both Kinsta and WP Engine.

Frequently asked questions

Does Nexcess still exist as a hosting company?

No. Liquid Web fully absorbed Nexcess on October 7, 2025. The Nexcess brand is retired and nexcess.net now redirects to liquidweb.com. The managed WordPress, WooCommerce, and Magento plans are still available under the same names (Spark, Maker, Designer, etc.), just sold through Liquid Web.

Can I still log in to my Nexcess account?

Yes. Existing Nexcess customers still log in at my.nexcess.net. That portal didn’t change during the merger. Your hosting, billing, and account data are intact.

Do old Nexcess coupon codes like EARLYBF24A still work?

No. All Nexcess-branded coupon codes expired in December 2024. New promotions use Liquid Web branding and are applied at liquidweb.com checkout. This page tracks current working discounts as they become available.

What is Liquid Web’s money-back guarantee?

Liquid Web offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on managed hosting plans. If you’re not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact support for a full refund to your original payment method.

Can existing customers use a coupon code on renewals?

No. Coupon codes are for new customers only. Existing customers renew at their locked-in rate. Liquid Web does offer a referral program where you can earn billing credits by referring new customers.

Does Liquid Web offer a free trial for managed WordPress hosting?

No. The old Nexcess 14-day free trial was discontinued during the Liquid Web merger. The 30-day money-back guarantee is the closest thing to a risk-free test.

Does Liquid Web offer free website migration?

Yes. Free site migration is included with all managed WordPress and WooCommerce plans. The Liquid Web team handles the full transfer from your old host, including DNS, database, and file migration.

When is the best time to buy Liquid Web hosting?

Black Friday and Cyber Monday, typically the last week of November. That’s when Liquid Web runs its deepest discount at 75% off four months on monthly plans. Outside of BFCM, the spring sale (usually 25-50% off) and annual billing discounts are your best options.

Final word

Nexcess is now Liquid Web. The hosting is identical, the plans are identical, the only thing that changed is the brand name and the URL you buy from. The deepest discount each year is Black Friday at 75% off. Outside of that, annual billing gets you the best per-month rate automatically.
