Is SE Ranking running a Black Friday sale this year, and how much will it take off the new plans? Those are the questions I’d answer before buying. The SE Ranking Black Friday sale is announced, and its countdown ends on November 17.
SE Ranking hasn’t published the terms yet. For the last 2 years, though, it took an extra 20% off yearly plans for new customers, on top of the usual 20% for paying annually.
My advice is to start the free 14-day trial now, since it needs no card, and buy on November 17 if the tool fits. If last year’s deal repeats, the Core plan would cost about $82.56 a month billed annually.

- Last 2 years: an extra 20% off yearly plans for first-time buyers, on top of the standard annual discount.
- New plans: Essential, Pro and Business were replaced by Core and Growth in early 2026, so last year’s prices don’t apply.

Both deals last year applied only to first-time buyers on yearly plans. If you already pay for SE Ranking, I wouldn’t expect the extra discount.

Last year’s sale was still live on December 3 and gone by December 5. So you’ll likely have until early December, but I wouldn’t leave it to the last day.
The Fine Print
These terms matter before you pay:
- Free trial: 14 days with no card, limited to 750 tracked keywords and 20 AI prompts a day.
- Refunds: payments aren’t refundable unless the service wasn’t delivered as promised.
- Annual commitment: the Black Friday discount has applied to yearly plans only.
- Older customers: some people on the old Essential, Pro and Business plans report higher costs after the switch.
SE Ranking vs Ahrefs and Semrush on Black Friday

My Take
If you’re new to SE Ranking, I’d use the trial now and buy the annual Core plan once the sale opens on November 17. If you already pay for it, the sale probably won’t help you, and I’d keep your current plan.
