Ahrefs Black Friday 2026: Is There a Deal?
Does Ahrefs have a Black Friday deal, and is it worth waiting until November 27 to buy? Those are the questions behind most Ahrefs Black Friday searches, and the honest answer is no deal, so no reason to wait.
Ahrefs says on its own pricing page that it never runs discounts. It didn’t in 2023, 2024 or 2025, and nothing suggests 2026 will be different. Waiting only costs you a month of data.
My advice is to start with the free tools for your own site, then pay for the plan that fits your work. If you want a Black Friday discount on an SEO tool, Semrush and SE Ranking are the ones that run them.
The only real saving Ahrefs offers is annual billing, which works out to 2 months free.
Does Ahrefs Do Black Friday Deals?

No. This is what Ahrefs has done in recent years:
- Pricing page: its FAQ says “We never run discounts,” and it said the same during the last 3 Black Friday weeks.
- Help center: it says Ahrefs runs no seasonal specials, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
- 2026: no sale has been announced.
So any “Ahrefs Black Friday coupon” you see on a coupon site isn’t real.
Ahrefs Prices Without a Sale
These are the current prices for one user. Annual billing costs exactly 10 times the monthly price.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Usage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29 | Monthly only | 200 credits, 1 month of history, no exports | Occasional checks |
| Lite | $129 | $1,290 | 1,000 credits per user each month | Bloggers and small sites |
| Standard | $249 | $2,490 | Unlimited | Freelancers and in-house SEO |
| Advanced | $449 | $4,490 | Unlimited | Agencies and bigger teams |
| Enterprise | Talk to sales | Talk to sales | Unlimited | Large companies |
A few costs add up on top of the plan:
- Extra users: $40, $60 or $80 a month each, depending on the plan.
- Content Kit: from $99 a month.
- Brand Radar AI: from $199 a month.
- No free trial, and refunds only for an unused monthly plan, at Ahrefs’ discretion.
The Cheapest Ways to Use Ahrefs
You don’t need a paid plan for everything. These are the cheapest routes, in the order I’d try them:
- Ahrefs Free: the tool once called Ahrefs Webmaster Tools. It covers sites you own and verify, with up to 1,000 backlinks and keywords and 5,000 site audit crawl credits a month.
- Free web tools: a backlink checker, keyword generator and more, with limited results.
- Starter at $29 a month: enough for occasional checks, though it has no exports and only a month of history.
- Annual billing: if you’ll use Lite or Standard all year, paying annually saves 2 months.
For a single blog, Ahrefs Free and the Starter plan cover most of what I’d need. Lite makes sense once you track competitors every week.
SEO Tools That Do Have Black Friday Deals
If you’d rather buy on Black Friday, these tools ran real offers last year:
- Semrush: 17% off annual Semrush One plans plus a 14-day trial last Black Friday. My Semrush Black Friday page tracks this year’s offer.
- SE Ranking: an extra 20% off on top of its usual 20% discount for yearly plans, plus 20% off add-ons. My SE Ranking Black Friday page covers this year’s sale, which starts November 17.
Semrush is the closest match to Ahrefs in data depth. SE Ranking costs much less and suits small sites and agencies on a budget. My Black Friday SEO deals page covers more tools.
Ahrefs Black Friday FAQs
Does Ahrefs have a Black Friday sale?
No. Ahrefs says it never runs discounts, and it hasn’t run a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale in recent years.
Is there an Ahrefs coupon code?
No real one. Ahrefs doesn’t offer coupon codes, so codes on coupon sites won’t work.
How can I get Ahrefs cheaper?
Annual billing gives you 2 months free, Ahrefs Free covers sites you own, and the Starter plan costs $29 a month.
Does Ahrefs have a free trial?
No. Ahrefs Free and the free web tools are the closest thing to a trial.
Is Ahrefs worth it without a discount?
For regular competitor and backlink research, yes. For one small site, Ahrefs Free plus the Starter plan is often enough.
What’s the best Ahrefs alternative on Black Friday?
Semrush for similar data depth, or SE Ranking for a lower price. Both ran Black Friday deals last year.
My Take
If you need Ahrefs, I’d buy it when you need it, since waiting for Black Friday saves nothing. If you only want a discount, I’d look at Semrush or SE Ranking this month instead.
