TeraBox Black Friday 2026: Is There a Premium Deal?

Does TeraBox have a Black Friday deal this year, and is Premium worth paying for when 1 TB is free? Those are the questions behind most TeraBox Black Friday searches. No sale has been announced, though Premium already shows a standing discount.

TeraBox has run Black Friday sales before. In 2022, it sold a year of Premium for $23.99, and in 2023 it ran a November sale. So a 2026 offer is possible, but not confirmed.

My advice is to stay on the free plan unless you need more than 1 TB or bigger uploads. For files you care about, I’d rather pay for a storage service with stronger privacy, several of which run real Black Friday deals.

Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27 and Cyber Monday on November 30.

This is where TeraBox stands right now:

  • Black Friday sale: nothing announced yet.
  • Standing discount: the pricing page shows Premium at 40% off and Premium+ at 59% off against struck-through prices, without calling it a Black Friday sale.
  • Prices vary by country: TeraBox shows prices based on your location, and the final price appears after you log in.

TeraBox Prices Now

These are the current plans. US prices are monthly, and the annual US price wasn’t shown when I checked.

PlanStorageUS priceIndia price
Free1 TB (labeled limited-time)$0₹0
Premium2 TB$3.49/mo₹349/mo or ₹3,499/yr
Premium+5 TB$3.89/mo₹390/mo or ₹4,100/yr

Premium adds these over the free plan:

  • Bigger uploads: files up to 128 GB, compared with 4 GB on the free plan.
  • Better playback: video up to 4K, compared with 480p.
  • No ads, plus 30 days to restore deleted files instead of 10.
  • Faster transfers: 5 parallel downloads and batch saves of up to 50,000 files.

Premium+ mostly adds AI tools and credits on top of Premium. If you only need space, plain Premium is the better buy.

Who Runs TeraBox, and Is It Private?

Before trusting TeraBox with important files, these facts are worth knowing:

  • Company: Flextech Inc., based in Tokyo, operating under Japanese law, with data stored in Japan.
  • History: TeraBox was formerly called Dubox, which stored data in Chinese data centers.
  • Encryption: its privacy policy claims encryption at rest, but not end-to-end encryption.
  • Scanning: the policy says content is scanned automatically.
  • Free storage can shrink: the terms let TeraBox reduce free storage on inactive accounts.
  • Refunds: only where the law requires, and none after an auto-renewal.

For movies, backups of downloads and other replaceable files, TeraBox is fine. For personal documents and photos, I’d use a service with end-to-end encryption.

TeraBox Alternatives With Black Friday Deals

These storage services offer stronger privacy and usually run real Black Friday sales:

  • pCloud: known for lifetime plans, with client-side encryption as an add-on. My pCloud Black Friday page tracks its sale.
  • Proton Drive: end-to-end encrypted by default, from a Swiss company. My Proton Black Friday page covers it.
  • Internxt: end-to-end encrypted storage with lifetime plans and regular Black Friday discounts.

My cloud storage Black Friday deals page compares more options side by side.

TeraBox Black Friday FAQs

Does TeraBox have a Black Friday sale in 2026?

Not yet. Premium already shows a standing discount, but nothing is labeled Black Friday.

How much is TeraBox Premium?

In the US, $3.49 a month for 2 TB, or $3.89 for 5 TB with Premium+. In India, Premium costs ₹349 a month or ₹3,499 a year.

Is TeraBox’s free 1 TB really free?

Yes, though TeraBox labels it limited-time, and its terms let it reduce free storage on inactive accounts.

Is TeraBox safe to use?

It’s fine for replaceable files. It doesn’t offer end-to-end encryption, and it scans content automatically, so I wouldn’t store private documents there.

Can I get a TeraBox refund?

Only where the law requires it. TeraBox doesn’t refund auto-renewals.

What is a good TeraBox alternative?

Proton Drive or Internxt for end-to-end encryption, or pCloud for lifetime plans.

My Take

If the free 1 TB covers you, I’d keep using it and skip Premium. If you need paid storage anyway, I’d wait for the Black Friday deals at Internxt, Proton or pCloud, since they protect your files better for a similar price.
