Domain Black Friday Deals 2026: Cheapest .com and What It Renews At

Which registrar has the cheapest .com this Black Friday, and what will you pay for it in year two? Those are the two questions I’d answer before grabbing any Black Friday domain deals, because the renewal price lasts much longer than the sale price.

Many first-year .com deals renew at $19.99 to $22.99 a year. Over 5 years, a $0.01 domain can cost more than one bought at a fair, flat price.

My pick right now is Spaceship, with .com at $3.60 using code COM67 and a renewal near $11. If you want the lowest long-term price without codes, Cloudflare and Porkbun sell .com close to cost every day.

Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27 and Cyber Monday on November 30. Spaceship, Hostinger and Porkbun already have their sales running.

Why the Renewal Price Matters More

Every .com has a cost floor that no registrar can go below for long:

  • Verisign’s wholesale price: $10.97 a year since November 1, 2026, up from $10.26.
  • ICANN’s fee: $0.20 per domain each year.
  • The floor: $11.17 a year, which is exactly what Cloudflare charges.

So a $0.01 or $3.60 first year is a discount the registrar makes back at renewal. This is what each one costs over 5 years, with the first year plus 4 renewals:

Registrar5-year .com cost
Spaceship (with COM67)$46.32, plus ICANN fees
Cloudflare$55.85
Dynadot$58.10
Porkbun$59.05
Hostinger (Black Friday)$79.97
Namecheap$86.40 to $92.00
GoDaddy ($0.01 deal)$91.97

The cheapest first year and the cheapest 5 years are rarely the same deal. For a domain you’ll keep, I’d judge it by the renewal price first.

Best Domain Black Friday Deals

Here’s each registrar’s offer and who it suits.

Spaceship

Spaceship’s “Not Black Friday Sale” runs from November 2 to December 4, with .com at $3.60 using code COM67. The code works once per customer, on new registrations only.

It renews at $10.68 plus the $0.20 ICANN fee, which is among the lowest renewals here. For one new domain, it’s the deal I’d take.

Hostinger

Hostinger’s Black Friday domain sale runs until December 14, with .com at $0.01 for the first year. It needs a 3-year term, and the domain renews at $19.99 a year.

It makes sense if you’re buying Hostinger hosting anyway, since many plans include a free domain for the first year. My Hostinger Black Friday page covers the hosting side.

Porkbun

Porkbun’s Black Friday event is live, with new deals dropping on November 12, 19, 23 and 27 until December 4. .com isn’t discounted yet and costs $11.81 to register and renew.

Last year, Porkbun cut .com to $7.00 for the first year. Even without a sale, its flat pricing makes it one of the cheapest places to keep a domain.

Namecheap

Namecheap hasn’t started its Black Friday sale yet. Last year it ran from November 21 to December 5, with .com at $7.48 using code MATRIXTLD25 on up to 5 domains.

Today, .com costs $12.08, or $6.48 for new customers with a promo code, and renews at $19.98. My Namecheap Black Friday page will track its sale once it starts.

Domain.com

Domain.com takes 30% off sitewide with code SITEWIDE30 from November 23. I’d check the renewal price at checkout before buying, since the discount applies to the first term.

GoDaddy

GoDaddy has no Black Friday page this year. Its standing offer is .com for $0.01 with a 3-year purchase, after which it renews at $22.99 a year.

That’s the most expensive renewal here. Over 3 years it costs $45.99, compared with $33.51 at Cloudflare.

Cloudflare Registrar

Cloudflare sells domains at cost and never runs sales. .com costs $11.17 to register and renew, which is the wholesale price plus the ICANN fee.

It suits people who already use Cloudflare for DNS and want the same fair price every year.

Dynadot

Dynadot’s Black Friday sale isn’t live yet. Last year it discounted only .com transfers, to $10.45 with code BFCOM2025.

.com costs $11.62 to register and renew today, so it’s already close to cost.

Last Year’s Domain Black Friday Deals

These were last year’s .com offers, which suggest what to expect from the sales not live yet:

Tips Before You Buy a Domain on Black Friday

A few things matter more than the headline price:

  • WHOIS privacy: all the registrars here include it free, so it shouldn’t sway your choice.
  • One per customer: most deep .com codes work on one domain per account.
  • Transfers add a year: moving a domain to a cheaper registrar renews it for a year at that registrar’s price.
  • Locked terms: $0.01 deals that need 3 years usually charge years 2 and 3 upfront at the regular rate.

My best domain registrars guide compares support, DNS and transfer rules if you’re choosing for the long run.

Domain Black Friday FAQs

What is the cheapest .com domain on Black Friday?

Right now, Spaceship at $3.60 with code COM67. Hostinger and GoDaddy offer $0.01, but only with a 3-year term and renewals near $20 or more.

Why are domain renewals more expensive than the first year?

The first year is a promotion. Renewals return to the registrar’s regular price, which can be twice the wholesale cost.

Did .com prices go up in 2026?

Yes. Verisign raised the .com wholesale price from $10.26 to $10.97 on November 1, 2026, so no registrar can sell .com at cost for less than $11.17.

Is WHOIS privacy free?

Yes, at every registrar on this page.

Does Cloudflare have a Black Friday domain sale?

No. Cloudflare sells domains at cost all year, at $11.17 for .com.

Should I transfer my domain on Black Friday?

If your renewal is near $20, moving to a registrar that renews near $11 saves money every year. A transfer also adds a year to your registration.

My Take

If you’re registering one new .com, I’d take Spaceship’s $3.60 deal now. If you’re keeping a domain for years, I’d register or transfer it to Cloudflare or Porkbun and stop worrying about renewal prices.
