Namecheap Black Friday Sale: Up to 99% Off Domains and 80% Off Hosting

Namecheap’s Black Friday is the only hosting sale I follow where the domains matter as much as the hosting. Last year’s Matrix of Deals ran from November 21 to December 5 with up to 99% off domains, up to 80% off shared hosting and up to 95% off EasyWP.

Both kinds of discount stop after a year. Stellar went down to about $0.98 a month last November, then renews at $55.88 a year, a price Namecheap raised on May 19. A domain bought for a dollar renews at the normal rate the following November. In a Namecheap cart, the renewal column is the one to read.

Even after the increase, its renewals are among the lowest I track, and I still send clients who turn up with three domains and no website to Namecheap. My longer take is in the Namecheap hosting review, and Hostinger vs Namecheap settles the most common either-or.

Namecheap Black Friday Prices Next to the Renewals

PlanLast Black FridayFirst year todayRenews atRoom
Stellar PlusUp to 80% off$2.98/mo$85.44/yrUnlimited sites, unmetered SSD, AutoBackup
StellarFrom about $0.98/mo$2.28/mo after a 30-day free trial$55.88/yr3 sites, 20 GB SSD, 30 mailboxes
Stellar BusinessUp to 80% off$4.98/mo$128.88/yrUnlimited sites, 50 GB cloud storage
EasyWP StarterUp to 95% off$3.24/mo billed yearly$5.74/mo1 managed WordPress site, 10 GB NVMe

About $12 buys the first year of Stellar at last year’s sale price, which is the cheapest year of cPanel hosting I know. Year two at $55.88 is nearly five times that and still lower than most hosts charge for a renewal.

Namecheap domain search showing a short first-year price and a longer renewal for each extension

Domain Deals: Read the Renewal Column

The deepest numbers in the Namecheap sale are on domains, and they are also the easiest to misread:

  • The 99% is a first-year price on selected extensions. Year two is the regular price for that extension.
  • Cheap new extensions renew expensively. A novelty extension for a dollar can cost many times that the next year.
  • ICANN adds $0.20 to every registration, renewal and transfer.
  • A .com is on a limited-time first-year promo even now, so the sale may not beat it by much.

Buy the name you will keep, not the bargain extension you will drop. Namecheap domain deals shows the current offers, and the search results list each renewal price beside the first-year one.

The Matrix of Deals

Namecheap rotates its Black Friday offers across products for about two weeks rather than running one flat sale:

  • Dates last year: November 21 to December 5, 2025, until 11:59 PM Eastern
  • Hosting: shared up to 80% off, Stellar from about $0.98/mo
  • EasyWP: up to 95% off
  • Domains: up to 99% off selected extensions
  • On other days: VPN, email and marketing tools

Because offers rotate, check more than once if a particular domain or plan matters to you.

Namecheap Hosting Plans

Stellar Plus

Stellar Plus is where I would spend the money.

  • $2.98/mo for the first year, renews at $85.44/yr
  • Unlimited websites, unmetered SSD, unlimited mailboxes
  • AutoBackup included

Seventy cents a month over Stellar buys automatic backups and removes the site limit. Even the renewal works out to about $7 a month.

Stellar

Stellar covers up to 3 small sites and nothing more.

  • 30-day free trial, then $2.28/mo for year one; about $0.98/mo last Black Friday
  • Renews at $55.88/yr, or $5.88/mo on monthly billing
  • 3 websites, 20 GB SSD, 30 mailboxes
  • cPanel, AI Website Builder, AI for WordPress, US or UK data center

Thirty mailboxes on a plan this cheap is unusual. Speed is the limit: fine for a portfolio, thin for a growing store.

EasyWP

EasyWP is Namecheap’s managed WordPress line, for one site whose owner never wants to see cPanel.

  • Starter: $3.24/mo billed yearly, renews at $5.74/mo, 10 GB NVMe
  • Turbo: $5.16/mo billed yearly, 50 GB NVMe, free domain and business email
  • Supersonic: $6.57/mo billed yearly, 100 GB NVMe
  • Monthly Starter: first month free, then $9.88/mo

Starter is the cheapest managed WordPress plan I know that renews under $6 a month. For more than one site, Stellar Plus costs less.

Three Years on Namecheap

PlanYear oneYears two and threeTotal
Stellar, bought in last year’s sale$11.76$55.88 each$123.52
Stellar today$27.36$55.88 each$139.12
Stellar Plus today$35.76$85.44 each$206.64
EasyWP Starter today$38.88$68.88 each$176.64

$124 for three years of Stellar is the lowest 3-year hosting bill I know that doesn’t require a 4-year commitment. Hostinger Premium undercuts it only on a 48-month term.

What Namecheap Changed This Year

  • May 19, 2026: Renewals went up. Stellar now renews at $55.88 a year, Plus at $85.44 and Business at $128.88; monthly renewals are $5.88, $7.88 and $11.88. First-year prices were left alone.
  • By 2026: A 30-day free trial on all three shared plans before the first-year price starts.
  • By 2026: AI tools in Stellar, an AI Website Builder and AI for WordPress.
  • By 2026: EasyWP on NVMe, at $3.24, $5.16 and $6.57 a month on yearly billing.
  • 2026: Pricier cPanel. cPanel’s 2026 licence increase lands on Namecheap’s shared plans, which run on it.

Where Namecheap Falls Short

  • Speed. Hostinger on LiteSpeed is quicker for similar money.
  • Long locks. The discount covers year one only.
  • Busy stores. Checkout traffic wants a cloud plan or a Cloudways server.
  • Phone support. Namecheap works through chat and tickets.

For the cheap-hosting field as a whole, the cheapest website hosting list and the Black Friday hosting roundup cover the rest.

A Namecheap Cart I Would Buy

Stellar Plus for the first year plus one .com on the current promo comes to about $43, ICANN fee included. That is hosting with backups, unlimited sites and a domain for a year, renewing at roughly $7 a month for the hosting. Fill the cart, read every renewal line, then pay.
