Why these deals matter
Form plugins are the most over-bought category in WordPress. Most sites need one contact form, one email opt-in, and maybe a payment form. Every builder on this page can do all three, so the deal usually decides which one earns the slot, and that’s fine: at this level of maturity, price is a legitimate tiebreaker.
I track verified deals on every major form builder here, live from my deals database: Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, Ninja Forms, SureForms, MetForm, Bit Form, ARForms, and Core Forms.
My honest take, bias disclosed
Full disclosure first: Core Forms is my own plugin. I built it because I kept installing 2MB form builders to render one contact form, so it’s deliberately small and block-native. I’m biased, so weigh that recommendation accordingly, and it’s also why every competitor on this list still gets a fair listing.
For heavier needs, the honest picks: Gravity Forms when forms are the application (registrations, workflows, integrations that must not break), Fluent Forms for the best feature-per-dollar ratio in the mid-range, and Formidable when you’re building calculators or data-driven directories. If you’re all-in on the block editor, SureForms and Core Forms feel most native.
Who should buy from this page, and who shouldn’t
Buy during a sale if forms drive your business: lead capture, quotes, bookings, registrations. Agency and unlimited-site tiers of Gravity and Fluent Forms at 40 to 50 percent off are among the best recurring savings in WordPress for freelancers.
Skip the pro tiers entirely if your site needs one contact form. A free tier or a lightweight plugin covers that, and the money is better spent on the email tool that actually nurtures the leads the form collects.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which form plugin is the best value on a deal?
Fluent Forms, most seasons: its pro tier undercuts rivals while covering conversational forms, payments, and integrations. Gravity Forms discounts less often, but its Black Friday sale is the right moment for agency licenses. For a simple site, a lightweight free option may be all you need.
Is Core Forms really free of catch, given you built it?
It’s my plugin, so read this answer with that in mind. I built it to be small and block-native rather than to upsell a suite. If you need multi-step workflows or deep CRM integrations, buy Gravity or Fluent instead; that’s an honest boundary, not modesty.
Do form plugins slow down a site?
The heavy ones load scripts and styles on every page unless configured not to. Whichever you buy, switch off global asset loading if the plugin offers it, and keep forms off pages that don’t need them. A form plugin should cost you kilobytes on the contact page, not the whole site.
Annual or lifetime for form builders?
Annual for the big suites, because you’re partly paying for integration maintenance, and that work truly is ongoing. Lifetime when a stable, smaller tool offers it and your use case is bounded. If a form processes payments, always stay on a supported, updating license.
