WPX Black Friday Deals: Up to 24 Free Months on Managed WordPress
WPX's Black Friday deal gives free months instead of a percentage: 4 free months on a 1-year plan up to 24 on a 5-year plan. Here is what each term really costs and which plan to buy.
This site ran on WPX before I moved it to ScalaHosting, and the bill was the reason I left; the hosting itself was fine. So I watch WPX’s Black Friday closely, because it is the one time of the year that bill gets better.
WPX does it with free months instead of a percentage. Last year a 1-year plan came with 4 free months and a 3-year plan with 12, which is four years of hosting for the price of three. Its renewals don’t jump the way shared hosting renewals do, so those free months are worth exactly what they say.
The monthly plans are a different story: up to 85% off the first month only, and in October WPX is already running 79% off the first month with a code. I still put client sites on WPX when support speed matters more than price, and my WPX hosting review explains why.
How the WPX Free Months Work
Last year’s free months by prepaid term. WPX adds them after the paid term ends:
| Prepaid term | Free months | Months of hosting | Discount from free months alone |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 year | 4 | 16 | 25% |
| 2 years | 6 | 30 | 20% |
| 3 years | 12 | 48 | 25% |
| 4 years | 18 | 66 | 27% |
| 5 years | 24 | 84 | 29% |
Notice that the 1-year plan matches the 3-year plan at 25% without tying up two more years of money. Longer terms only win if their price in the cart is lower per year as well.

Why Free Months Beat a Percentage
A shared host discounts the first term and charges full price after. WPX charges the same regular price before and after, so the free months are a clean addition. Three years on WPX, buying the 1-year Black Friday plan first:
| Plan | Annual price | Three annual payments | Months of hosting you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business | $299.90 | $899.70 | 40 instead of 36 |
| Starter | $179.90 | $539.70 | 40 instead of 36 |
| Professional | $599.90 | $1,799.70 | 40 instead of 36 |
Same money, 4 extra months, and nothing that reverses in year two. That is a rarer thing in hosting than it should be.
Last Year’s Rules
- Window: November 24 to December 8, 2025, with invoices paid by December 17
- Monthly plans: up to 85% off, first month only
- Prepaid plans: free months added after the paid term, and lost if you cancel before they start
- One offer per plan, and annual plans cannot be stacked to make a multi-year term
- Refunds: 30 days on every plan length; domain purchases are not refundable
WPX Plans
Every plan gets the same features: the XDN CDN, malware removal, daily backups and unlimited free migrations. Only sites, storage and bandwidth change.
Business
For most readers of this site, Business is the right size.
- $29.99/mo, or $299.90/yr ($24.99/mo)
- Up to 5 websites, 20 GB storage, 200 GB bandwidth
- About $18.74/mo across 16 months with last year’s free months
Five sites with managed support for less than nineteen dollars is the best value WPX sells. Storage is the trade: 20 GB is less than Hostinger puts on a $4 plan.
Starter
Starter is the newest plan, for a single business site.
- $17.99/mo, or $179.90/yr ($14.99/mo)
- 1 website, 10 GB storage, 100 GB bandwidth
- About $11.24/mo across 16 months with last year’s free months
It is the cheapest way into WPX support. Check the size of your uploads folder first, because 10 GB fills up on media-heavy sites.
Professional
Professional suits freelancers and small agencies with a handful of client sites.
- $59.99/mo, or $599.90/yr ($49.99/mo)
- Up to 15 websites, 40 GB storage, 400 GB bandwidth
- About $37.49/mo across 16 months with last year’s free months
That works out to roughly $2.50 per site per month on Black Friday terms. Elite, at $119.99 a month, stretches to 35 sites and 80 GB.
WooCommerce Plans
WPX also sells plans sized for WooCommerce stores rather than site counts.
- Powerstore: $34.99/mo or $349.90/yr, 1 store, 20 GB, 400 GB bandwidth
- Superstore: $74.99/mo or $749.90/yr, up to 3 stores, 50 GB
- Hyperstore: $149.99/mo or $1,499.90/yr, up to 5 stores, 100 GB
Powerstore is the one for a single store that has outgrown shared hosting; my WooCommerce hosting comparison sets it against Cloudways.
WPX Changes Worth Knowing
- By 2026: Starter. A 1-site plan at $17.99 a month now sits below Business.
- By 2026: Store plans. Powerstore, Superstore and Hyperstore sit beside the site-count plans.
- Today: 43+ XDN locations for the WPX CDN, in front of 3 data centers in Chicago, London and Sydney.
- Unchanged: the support promise. WPX still advertises a 30-second average chat response and manual migrations within 24 hours.
- Unchanged: independence. WPX remains an independent company based in Bulgaria.
Reasons to Look Past WPX
- Budget first. Hostinger costs a fraction of WPX for one site.
- Heavy media. 20 GB on Business runs out on image-heavy sites.
- Readers in India or Southeast Asia. The CDN helps, but the origin servers are in Chicago, London and Sydney.
- You want a server you control. ScalaHosting, where this site went after WPX, or Cloudways give more resources for similar money.

WPX Black Friday Questions
How does the WPX Black Friday deal work?
Prepaid plans get free months added after the paid term: 4 on 1 year, 6 on 2, 12 on 3, 18 on 4 and 24 on 5. Monthly plans get up to 85% off the first month.
When was the WPX sale last year?
November 24 to December 8, 2025, with orders paid by December 17.
Do WPX prices rise after the free months?
No. You return to the same regular price, for example $299.90 a year for Business.
Which WPX plan should I choose?
Business on a 1-year plan for most people; Starter for one site; Professional for client work.
Is there a refund on a WPX Black Friday plan?
Yes, 30 days on any plan length. Domain purchases are excluded.
Will WPX move my sites?
Yes, unlimited manual migrations by its team, usually within 24 hours.
What I Would Do
Take Business on a 1-year plan during the sale, let WPX migrate everything, and spend the first 30 days testing the support you are paying for. If it earns its price, the 4 free months make year one the cheapest WPX year you will get. If price matters more than support to you, WPX was never going to be the host.
