VPS Black Friday Deals 2026
If you waited for Black Friday to buy a server, I have some bad news. The VPS Black Friday deals running right now cost more than last year’s on the same specs. Hostinger’s KVM 2 sold for $5.99 a month last November, and it’s $8.79 in this sale with the same 8 GB of RAM.
The big percentages make this hard to see. ScalaHosting’s Build #1 says 59% off, but that takes just 25% off the annual price you could already get, and it renews at $54.95 a month. Pick the wrong term on that one plan and you pay $510 more over 3 years.
My advice is simple. I’d buy Hostinger‘s KVM 2 if you can run a server yourself or use a panel. If you want someone else to look after the server, I’d buy ScalaHosting on its 36-month term. For a small side project, RackNerd’s 2 GB plan at $35.99 a year is hard to beat, because it renews at the same price.
I run this site on a Hostinger KVM 4 through xCloud, and it ran on ScalaHosting’s Entry Cloud for 12 months before that. So I’ll tell you what I’d buy and also where each one bites. Before the details, here’s every deal in one table.
VPS Black Friday Deals at a Glance

What a VPS Deal Costs Over 3 Years
A server isn’t something you want to move every year, so I judge these deals on 3 years of bills. This table counts today’s deal price and then the stated renewal, without tax or add-ons.
| Plan | RAM | Who manages it | 3-year cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| RackNerd 4 GB | 4 GB | You | $179.97 |
| InterServer 2 slices | 4 GB | You | $216 |
| Hosting.com Unmanaged 4 GB, 36 months | 4 GB | You | $233.64 |
| Hostinger KVM 1 | 4 GB | You | $299.64 |
| ScalaHosting Build #1, 36 months | 4 GB | ScalaHosting | $1,078.20 |
| ScalaHosting Build #1, 12 months then renewal | 4 GB | ScalaHosting | $1,588.32 |
| RackNerd 8 GB | 8 GB | You | $359.97 |
| Hostinger KVM 2 | 8 GB | You | $390.84 |
| InterServer 4 slices | 8 GB | You | $432 |
| ScalaHosting Build #2, 36 months | 8 GB | ScalaHosting | $2,230.20 |
Hostinger’s renewal bills for another 24 months, so you pay more up front at month 25 than these totals show. The cost per month is still what the table uses.
ScalaHosting’s Build #1 shows why the percentage is a poor guide. Here’s the same 4 GB server paid for three ways:
- The 59% off deal: $269.52 for 12 months, then 24 months at $54.95, comes to $1,588.32
- The 45% off deal: 36 months at $29.95 comes to $1,078.20
- No deal: 36 months at $54.95 comes to $1,978.20
So the deal with the bigger percentage saves 20% over 3 years and the one with the smaller percentage saves 45%. If you plan to stay, it is wise to buy the long term.
Why VPS Deals Cost More This Year
Most of these sales look weaker than last year’s because the base prices moved up. Here’s the same plan in both sales:
| Plan | Black Friday 2025 | Black Friday 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger KVM 1 | $4.99/mo | $6.49/mo |
| Hostinger KVM 2 | $5.99/mo | $8.79/mo |
| Hostinger KVM 4 | $9.99/mo | $12.99/mo |
| Hostinger KVM 8 | $19.99/mo | $25.99/mo |
| ScalaHosting Build #1 | $14.98/mo | $22.46/mo |
| ScalaHosting Build #2 | $22.48/mo | $33.71/mo |
Memory is the likely reason, though I can only point to other hosts saying so. Hetzner said in February that the RAM market had driven up its costs, with NVMe drives in a similar spot. Leaseweb blamed an AI-driven shortage of memory and storage chips when it raised VPS prices by up to 49%.
So I wouldn’t hold out for last year’s prices to come back. They may yet, but nothing in these sales suggests it.
Best VPS Black Friday Deals
I’ve put these in the order I’d consider them. The first 2 sales are running now, and the rest open later or don’t discount at all.

Hostinger
Hostinger is my pick if you can run a server or use a panel, because it has the most RAM per dollar among the hosts I’d put a business site on. The sale runs from October 19 to December 14 with no code, so you don’t need to rush for November 27.
- KVM 1: $6.49/mo on 24 months ($155.76), renews at $11.99/mo, 1 vCPU, 4 GB, 50 GB NVMe, 4 TB
- KVM 2: $8.79/mo on 24 months ($210.96), renews at $14.99/mo, 2 vCPU, 8 GB, 100 GB NVMe, 8 TB
- KVM 4: $12.99/mo on 24 months ($311.76), renews at $28.99/mo, 4 vCPU, 16 GB, 200 GB NVMe, 16 TB
- KVM 8: $25.99/mo on 24 months ($623.76), renews at $49.99/mo, 8 vCPU, 32 GB, 400 GB NVMe, 32 TB
- Included: weekly backups and a 30-day money-back window
I’d buy KVM 2 for a few WordPress sites and KVM 4 once you run a store or a busy site. KVM 4 is what this site runs on, and it renews at nearly double what KVM 2 does, so don’t buy it just because the sale price looks close.
One thing to watch: Hostinger can switch on a CPU limit it calls a VPS limitation. It was switched on for my server on October 8, and every site on it slowed to timeouts until I turned it off in hPanel. If all your sites slow down together, check there before you blame WordPress.
I also keep a separate page on Hostinger’s shared hosting deal if you don’t need a VPS yet.

ScalaHosting
ScalaHosting is my pick for a managed VPS, where the host patches and secures the server for you. I ran this site on Entry Cloud for 12 months, and my ScalaHosting review has that history. The sale is live until December 1 with no code.
- Entry Cloud: $11.21/mo on 12 months ($134.52) or $24.95/mo on 36 ($898.20), renews at $39.95/mo, 2 CPU, 2 GB, 50 GB NVMe
- Build #1: $22.46/mo on 12 months ($269.52) or $29.95/mo on 36 ($1,078.20), renews at $54.95/mo, 2 CPU, 4 GB, 50 GB NVMe
- Build #2: $33.71/mo on 12 months ($404.52) or $61.95/mo on 36 ($2,230.20), renews at $96.95/mo, 4 CPU, 8 GB, 100 GB NVMe
- Included: SPanel, 1 backup and unmetered bandwidth. cPanel is $32.95/mo extra
- Refund: prorated refund of unused time at any point
The 12-month price suits you only if you’re testing or plan to leave after a year. If you’ll stay, the 36-month term is the deal, even though its badge is smaller. Entry Cloud’s CPU and RAM are also fixed, so you’d move to Build #1 when you outgrow it.
The prorated refund makes that 36-month payment less scary than it looks, and it is the feature I’d want on any 3-year prepay.

HostPapa
HostPapa should have the lowest monthly price on an NVMe VPS here once its sale opens, as long as you’re fine with a long term. The sale runs from November 9 to December 7, with VPS up to 70% off and plans from $4.45 a month.
- Start: from $4.45/mo, 2 vCPU, 2 GB, 50 GB NVMe, 4 TB
- Last Black Friday: Start $4.45, Progress $7.45, Achieve $13.45, all on 3-year terms
- Panel: SolusVM on the unmanaged plans
- Refund: 30 days for new VPS customers
At $4.45 for 36 months, Start costs $160.20 up front. HostPapa says plans renew at the regular rate without printing the figure on the plan cards, so you should check the renewal line at checkout before paying for 3 years. I’d only pick it for a small site that fits in 2 GB.

Hosting.com
Hosting.com, which used to be A2 Hosting, runs its sale from November 2 to December 1. Code BLACKFRIDAY takes an extra 5% off hosting plans for new customers on 1- to 4-year terms, on top of the plan price.
- Unmanaged 4 GB: $6.49/mo on 36 months or $8.99/mo on 12, renews at $19/mo, 2 vCPU, 80 GB NVMe
- Unmanaged 8 GB: $9.99/mo on 36 months or $12.99/mo on 12, renews at $29/mo, 4 vCPU, 160 GB NVMe
- Managed cPanel 4 GB: $23.20/mo on 12 months, renews at $58/mo, with cPanel Solo and automated backups
The 8 GB plan on 36 months is the one I’d look at, because it costs about the same per month as Hostinger’s KVM 2 and locks that in for a year longer. It renews at nearly double Hostinger’s rate after that. These prices can change when the sale opens, so read the checkout total.

RackNerd
RackNerd is my pick for a cheap box that won’t surprise you at renewal, and I’ve run secondary projects on it. My Hetzner, Vultr and RackNerd comparison covers that move. Its specials renew at the same price for as long as you keep the server.
- 2 GB: $35.99/yr, 2 vCPU, 35 GB SSD, 5 TB
- 4 GB: $59.99/yr, 3 vCPU, 60 GB SSD, 7 TB
- 8 GB: $119.99/yr, 7 vCPU, 150 GB SSD, 20 TB
- Last Black Friday: 2.5 GB $18.66/yr, 4 GB $29.98/yr and 8 GB $62.49/yr, posted on November 19
Today’s specials cost about double last year’s Black Friday prices, and no 2026 sale is up yet. Last year’s deals appeared in mid-November, so I’d wait until then before buying here. You should know the limits too: RackNerd gives no refund by default, the disks are SSD and you manage everything yourself.

InterServer
InterServer doesn’t run a Black Friday sale, and it earns its place anyway. A slice costs $3 a month, billed monthly, and that price didn’t move between last November and today.
- 1 slice: $3/mo, 1 vCPU, 2 GB, 40 GB SSD, 2 TB
- 2 slices: $6/mo, 1 vCPU, 4 GB, 80 GB SSD, 4 TB
- 4 slices: $12/mo, 2 vCPU, 8 GB, 160 GB SSD, 8 TB
- Add-ons: DirectAdmin from $3.75/mo, plus paid remote backups
You can cancel any month, which none of the prepaid deals above allow, but there’s no money-back guarantee. The vCPU count is low for the RAM, so it suits memory-hungry apps better than busy PHP sites.

InMotion Hosting
InMotion’s Black Friday sale isn’t open yet. What it did last year is the useful part: the base VPS price didn’t drop. The 4 vCPU plan was $9.99 a month on the long term during last year’s sale and again this September, and the Black Friday discount sat on its Premier Care bundle instead.
- VPS 4 vCPU: $9.99/mo on its longest term, renews at $16.99/mo, 8 GB, 160 GB NVMe, 5 TB
- VPS 8 vCPU: $19.99/mo on its longest term, renews at $46.99/mo, 16 GB, 260 GB NVMe
- Refund: up to 90 days
That 8 GB price is already strong, so you should check whether this year’s sale touches the base price or only the bundle. My InMotion Black Friday page covers the shared plans.

Liquid Web
Liquid Web is for people who want managed support and no prepayment. It bills monthly or hourly, and my Liquid Web deal page covers its other products.
- Self-managed 4 GB: $17/mo, 2 vCPU, 80 GB SSD, 3 TB
- Managed 4 GB: $72/mo, 2 vCPU, 80 GB SSD, 3 TB, automated backups
- Managed 8 GB: $100/mo, 4 vCPU, 240 GB SSD, 5 TB, automated backups
- Last Black Friday: up to 50% off the first 3 months, new accounts only
That deal saved $25.50 in total on the self-managed 4 GB plan, so I wouldn’t time a purchase around it. Buy Liquid Web when you want its support team, whatever the month.
VPS Hosts That Skip Black Friday
Some of the best value in VPS hosting never really goes on sale. I ran production sites on Hetzner for a while, and I’d compare these before paying for any 3-year deal. Hetzner, DigitalOcean and Vultr showed no Black Friday pricing on their pages last year:
- Hetzner: CX23 with 2 vCPU and 4 GB is €5.99/mo, and CX33 with 4 vCPU and 8 GB is €8.99/mo. Stock can vary by location, and backups cost 20% extra
- DigitalOcean: 2 GB is $12/mo, 4 GB is $24/mo and 8 GB is $48/mo
- Vultr: 2 GB is $10/mo, 4 GB is $20/mo and 8 GB is $40/mo
- Namecheap: Pulsar with 2 GB is $6.88/mo for a year with no VPS sale last November, then $106.56 a year
- Contabo: Cloud VPS 4 with 4 vCPU and 8 GB is €4.40/mo for 24 months, the cheapest 8 GB here on a 200 Mbit/s port. Last Black Friday it took 10% off
Managed or Unmanaged VPS
There are generally three ways to run a VPS, and this choice changes your bill more than any coupon on this page.
You can buy a managed plan, where the host patches the server and answers when it breaks. That is what ScalaHosting sells, and its 4 GB plan costs about $780 more over 3 years than Hostinger’s KVM 1.
Or, you can rent a bare server and do everything over SSH. This is the cheapest route and also the one where a missed update becomes your problem in the middle of the night.
The middle path is an unmanaged server with a panel on top. xCloud sets up the web server, PHP, SSL and backups on a server you rent elsewhere, and it is free for your first server. It is wise to start here if you’re comfortable reading an error log but don’t want to live in a terminal. My WordPress hosting guide shows that setup, and my shared vs VPS guide can tell you whether you need a VPS at all.
FAQs on VPS Black Friday Deals
What is the best VPS Black Friday deal?
For most people, it’s Hostinger KVM 2 at $8.79 a month on 24 months, with 8 GB of RAM. For a managed server, it’s ScalaHosting Build #1 at $29.95 a month on 36 months.
What is the cheapest VPS on Black Friday?
RackNerd’s 2 GB special at $35.99 a year and InterServer’s 2 GB slice at $3 a month cost about the same over 3 years. Both are unmanaged and neither gives you a default refund.
When do VPS Black Friday deals start?
Hostinger and ScalaHosting opened on October 19. Hosting.com opens on November 2 and HostPapa on November 9. RackNerd posted last year’s deals on November 19.
Are Cyber Monday VPS deals better than Black Friday?
Hostinger’s sale runs through December 14 and ScalaHosting’s through December 1, with no stated price change on Cyber Monday. I wouldn’t wait for it unless you’re watching RackNerd.
Does a Black Friday VPS price renew at the same rate?
Usually not. Hostinger’s KVM 2 goes from $8.79 to $14.99 a month and ScalaHosting’s Build #1 goes to $54.95. RackNerd’s specials are the exception on this list.
The VPS I’d Buy Today
If you’re still stuck between them, I’d ask who will fix the server when it breaks. If that’s you, I’d buy Hostinger’s KVM 2 now, since the price runs through December 14 and I don’t expect last year’s to return. If it isn’t you, I’d take ScalaHosting’s Build #1 on the 36-month term before December 1.
I’d wait only for RackNerd, where last year’s deals came in mid-November. Either way, read the renewal line at checkout and set yourself a reminder for the month before it hits.
