Creator Gear Black Friday Deals 2026

If you’re shopping for creator gear Black Friday deals, I’d be careful about using last year’s prices as your guide. Camera makers are paying far more for memory this year, and new DJI models can’t be officially sold in the US at all. So you could wait for a price that won’t come back, or buy a listing with no US support.

My advice is simple. If you talk to a camera, I’d buy the microphone first, because it does more for a spoken video than a new camera will. For a camera, I’d pick the GoPro HERO13 Black or the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Those 2 have the clearest US availability and a sale price to compare.

No camera or audio brand here has announced a Black Friday 2026 price yet. Black Friday is November 27 and Cyber Monday is November 30, and the targets below are my own estimates from last year’s prices and this year’s costs.

Before the details, here’s how this year differs from last.

Creator Gear Black Friday Deals at a Glance

Creator gear Black Friday: the GoPro HERO13 Black was $319 last year, with a target of $329 or less this year as memory costs rise.

Audio, lights and stream controllers look much like last year. Cameras don’t, and that’s where you should expect less.

What’s Moving Creator Gear Prices

Three things have changed since last November, and each one affects what you should buy:

  • Memory costs: GoPro says its memory prices rose 80% to 115%, and Insta360 spent about $298 million on memory in the first half of 2026.
  • New flagship pricing: the Insta360 X6 launched at $699.99, which is $150 above the X5.
  • Tariffs on drones: Section 232 tariffs took effect on September 3, at 25% for most consumer drones.

So cameras should see weaker discounts than last year. Microphones, lights and Stream Deck depend less on memory, and their prices look flat. That part is my reading of the evidence, and no brand has said it.

Can You Still Buy DJI in the US?

Yes for some models, and this is the part you should check before you pay. The FCC added DJI to its Covered List on December 22, 2025, which blocks new authorizations, while models already authorized stay legal to sell.

  • Clear buy: the Osmo Pocket 3, which press reports show at Best Buy as well as Amazon.
  • Check the seller: the Mic Mini, Mic 3 and Osmo Mobile 8 are listed on Amazon, but I couldn’t confirm the seller on each.
  • Importer risk: the Osmo Action 6 and Neo 2 reach the US through independent importers, so I’ve left them out of my picks.
  • Not for US buyers: the Osmo Pocket 4, Pocket 4P, Osmo 360 II and Mic Mini 2. Press reports say the Pocket 4 can’t be sold new in the US, even though a listing can appear on Amazon.

You should read the “Sold by” line on any DJI listing, because a third-party seller isn’t automatically authorized. PhotographyTalk says DJI gives no US warranty support on gray-market units, and sources disagree on what DJI’s official channels cover.

What to Buy First

It depends on what you make, and the order matters more than the sale. For spoken video, audio comes first. In a 2018 study, Newman and Schwarz found that the same content with poor sound made listeners rate the research and the researcher lower.

  • Phone creator: a wireless mic, then a light if you film indoors.
  • Desk streamer or podcaster: a USB mic, then a light, then a webcam. I’d leave Stream Deck until last, since it speeds up your work and doesn’t improve the picture.
  • Travel vlogger: the Osmo Pocket 3, then the DJI Mic Mini. A 360 camera comes later, if you need one.
  • Action and sports: the HERO13 Black. Audio matters less here.

That isn’t a universal rule. A 2021 study found that visuals dominate overall audio-visual quality, so a sports or scenery channel can start with the camera.

Best Creator Gear Black Friday Deals

Each target is my estimate, and I’d treat anything at or below it as a good price. Amazon’s listed price changes daily, so you should compare it with the target on the day. If you’re also buying software, my video editing Black Friday deals cover that side.

RODE Wireless GO (Gen 3)

The RODE Wireless GO (Gen 3) is the wireless mic I’d pick if you want no doubts about US sales. Its on-board recording gives you a backup if the wireless signal drops.

RODE Wireless GO Gen 3 with 2 transmitters and a receiver
  • 2 transmitters, 1 receiver and a charging case
  • 32-bit float on-board recording, for over 40 hours
  • USB-C and locking 3.5mm output
  • My target: $169 or less. I found no named Black Friday price for it last year, so this one is a rough guide

DJI Mic Mini

The DJI Mic Mini is the cheap way to fix phone audio, and its transmitter links directly to DJI cameras such as the Pocket 3. This is the original model, because the Mic Mini 2 isn’t sold in the US.

DJI Mic Mini kit with 2 transmitters, a receiver and charging case
  • 10g transmitters, with up to 48 hours using the case
  • Noise cancelling, and up to 400m range by DJI’s figure
  • My target: $79 or less
  • Check the “Sold by” line, as with any DJI listing

Shure MV7+

The Shure MV7+ is the desk mic to buy if you may move to a proper audio interface later, since it works over both USB and XLR. It also has the most repeatable sale price in this guide.

Shure MV7+ black microphone on a boom mount
  • USB-C and XLR outputs
  • Auto Level Mode and a real-time denoiser
  • Last Black Friday: $269, from $299
  • My target: $269 or less

Elgato Wave:3 MK.2

The Elgato Wave:3 MK.2 is the simpler USB mic for streamers, and it costs far less than the Shure. Elgato says its Clipguard 2.0 makes clipping virtually impossible, which helps if you record alone.

Elgato Wave:3 MK.2 USB microphone on its desk stand
  • USB-C condenser with auto gain and tap to mute
  • New in March, so it has no Black Friday history
  • My target: $114.99 or less

GoPro HERO13 Black

The GoPro HERO13 Black is the safest action camera for a US buyer, and it’s the one I’d buy for most people. It’s also the only GoPro here with a clear sale price to compare against.

GoPro HERO13 Black action camera, front and rear screens
  • 5.3K60 video and 27MP photos
  • Waterproof to 33 feet
  • Last Black Friday: $319 for the camera alone
  • My target: $329 or less, because of higher memory costs

GoPro MISSION 1 PRO

The GoPro MISSION 1 PRO is the flagship for low light, with a 1-inch sensor and 8K open gate. It costs about twice a HERO13, so I’d buy it only if you need those 2 things.

GoPro MISSION 1 PRO action camera
  • 1-inch sensor, 8K60 and 50MP photos
  • On sale since May, so there’s no Black Friday history
  • My target: $649 or less

DJI Osmo Pocket 3

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is the pocket camera I’d buy for vlogging, with a built-in gimbal that keeps walking shots steady. It’s the last model in this line that US buyers can clearly get, so stock may thin out.

DJI Osmo Pocket 3 handheld camera with its screen turned out
  • 1-inch sensor and 4K at 120 fps
  • 3-axis stabilization and a 2-inch rotating screen
  • Last Black Friday: Best Buy took $300 off the Creator Combo
  • My target: $399 or less for the standard kit

Insta360 X6

The Insta360 X6 is the 360 camera to buy if you want the best one and can pay for it. It’s also the clearest sign of 2026 pricing, so I wouldn’t expect the discounts the X5 got.

Insta360 X6 360 camera with its accessories
  • Dual 1/1.1-inch sensors and 8K50 360 video
  • Waterproof to 20m
  • Last Black Friday: the X5 was $464.99, from $549.99
  • My target: $649 or less

GoPro MAX2

The GoPro MAX2 is the value 360 camera, at less than half the X6’s price. It has replaceable lenses and true 8K 360 video, and I’d buy it at or near today’s price without much waiting.

GoPro MAX2 360 camera
  • True 8K 360 video
  • Replaceable glass lenses
  • My target: $279 or less

Elgato Facecam 4K

The Elgato Facecam 4K is a strong desk webcam, with a Sony sensor and support for 49mm filters. Elgato’s store and Amazon have shown very different prices for it, so you should compare the 2. My list of the best webcams for streaming has more options.

Elgato Facecam 4K webcam clipped to a monitor
  • 4K at 60 fps with a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor
  • Fixed focus from 30 to 120cm, and it needs USB 3
  • My target: $119.99 or less

Elgato Key Light Neo

The Elgato Key Light Neo is the low-cost way to light a desk setup, since it runs over USB and clips to your monitor. You should check Elgato’s own store first, because it has been cheaper than Amazon for the kit with the mount.

Elgato Key Light Neo mounted on top of a monitor
  • Up to 1000 lumens on a 3A supply, and 700 on USB-C
  • Monitor mount included in this kit
  • My target: $59.99 or less

Elgato Stream Deck MK.2

The Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 is a 15-key controller that runs your scene changes and shortcuts at a tap. It improves how you work and does nothing for the picture or sound, so I’d buy it last.

Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 with 15 lit keys on its stand
  • 15 LCD keys with one-touch multi-actions
  • Plugins for OBS, Twitch, YouTube and Discord
  • Last Black Friday: $109.99, from $149.99
  • My target: $109.99 or less

GoPro’s Future Is Worth a Thought

GoPro agreed on September 1 to merge with Starman Optical, and it announced cuts of about 23% of its staff in April. It has also warned about its finances, so long-term support is an open question.

I’d still buy a HERO13 Black at a sale price, because less money is at stake. I’d think twice about paying flagship money for MISSION 1 PRO until the merger is settled.

Creator Gear Deals in India

Most of these sell in India, and the buttons above lead to the Indian listing where one exists. The picture differs in a few ways:

  • DJI Pocket 4: it’s officially on sale in India, at Rs 52,990 for the Standard Combo, so Indian buyers can skip the US limits.
  • Insta360 X6: it launched at Rs 81,990 for the Standard kit.
  • Sale timing: Diwali sales run around November 6 to 10 this year, and those may beat Black Friday. Indian retail calendars disagree on the Black Friday dates.
  • Elgato: I’ve left out the India button on the Facecam 4K, Key Light Neo and Wave:3 MK.2, because I couldn’t match a listing that’s ready to ship.

FAQs on Creator Gear Black Friday Deals

Is the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 sold in the US?

Press reports say it can’t be sold new in the US, because DJI models need an FCC authorization they can no longer get. An Amazon listing can still appear, so I’d stick with the Pocket 3 and check the seller.

Will GoPro prices drop for Black Friday?

Probably, though less than last year. The HERO13 Black was $319 last Black Friday, and GoPro’s memory costs have risen sharply since then, so I’d treat $329 as a good price.

Should I buy a mic or a camera first?

For talking to the camera, I’d buy the mic, because a phone camera is usually good enough and poor sound makes people rate the speaker lower. For action or scenery, the camera comes first.

Are these target prices guaranteed?

No. They’re my estimates, built from last year’s reported prices and this year’s costs, and no brand has announced a price yet.

Final Remarks

If you’re still deciding, I’d buy the one piece that fixes your weakest link, and that’s usually the audio. If you already have a good mic, I’d choose between the HERO13 Black and the Pocket 3 by whether you film action or yourself.

I’d check prices around November 20, and I’d buy any US-sold DJI product sooner if stock starts to thin. The other offers I track are on my Black Friday deals page.
