Canva Black Friday Deal 2026
I pay for Canva Pro and use it for printables and quick graphics, and I’ve tested its newer AI tools, like the Craft image model, inside my own account. So I get why people look for a Canva Black Friday deal every November. Pro is a bill many of us pay all year, and a cheaper renewal would be welcome.
The answer is that Canva doesn’t run Black Friday sales. It didn’t in 2024 or 2025, and its only holiday offer last year came in December, for new customers on monthly plans. Waiting for a deal can cost you a month of Pro you needed for your own Black Friday designs.
My advice is simple. I’d start the free 30-day trial of Canva Pro now, then switch to the $144 yearly plan if you keep it. That saves about a third against paying monthly, which beats any discount Canva has offered.
Is There a Canva Black Friday Deal?
Here’s what Canva has and hasn’t done around Black Friday:
- 2024: no Black Friday discount on Pro or Teams.
- 2025: no Black Friday sale either. In December, Canva gave new customers a 50% discount on the first 3 months of monthly Pro or Business, from about December 2 to 19.
- 2026: nothing announced, and no promotion on the pricing page today.
That December offer is the closest thing to a holiday deal Canva has run. It excluded India and several other countries, and it couldn’t be combined with the free trial.
Canva Pricing Right Now
These are Canva’s US prices, which have moved several times in the past year:
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Who it’s for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Basic designs and templates |
| Canva Pro | $18 | $144 | One person, all premium templates and AI tools |
| Canva Business | $25 per person | $250 per person | Teams with brand controls |
Canva Pro was $120 a year until mid-2025, briefly went to $180 this summer and is back at $144. Canva Business replaced Canva Teams for new sign-ups on October 30, 2025, so the old $100-per-person Teams price is gone.
In India, Canva shows local pricing: Pro Lite at ₹1,590 a year, Pro at ₹4,000 a year and Business at ₹6,800 per person, plus 1-day and 1-week Pro passes.
Cheaper Ways to Get Canva Pro
Since a Black Friday code isn’t coming, these are the routes that actually lower the price:
- The free trial. Canva Pro comes with a 30-day free trial. AI features are capped at the free plan’s limits during the trial.
- Yearly billing. $144 a year works out to $12 a month, against $18 on monthly billing.
- Canva for Education. Free for K-12 teachers, their students and schools. College students don’t qualify on their own.
- Canva for Campus. Free for university students only when their school buys it.
- Canva for Nonprofits. Pro free for up to 50 people at eligible nonprofits.
- Pro Lite in India. ₹199 a month for the main premium tools, if you don’t need everything in Pro.
So for most people, the trial plus yearly billing is the deal. A December offer like last year’s would only beat it if you need Pro for just a few months.
What You Get With Canva Pro
These are the parts of Pro I’d actually pay for:
- Premium templates and stock: the full template library and millions of photos, videos and graphics.
- Brand Kit: your fonts, colors and logos saved once and applied to any design.
- Magic tools: background remover, resize to any format and the AI image tools, including Canva’s own Craft model.
- Affinity: Canva made the Affinity design apps free in October 2025, though their AI features still need a paid Canva plan.
Canva’s AI image results aren’t always right, and I’ve had its Craft model add text I didn’t ask for. My Canva Craft review covers what it gets right and where it slips.
Canva Black Friday Templates
Many people searching “Canva Black Friday” want the opposite of a deal: templates for their own Black Friday sale. Canva has a large free set:
- Black Friday flyers and posters for print
- Instagram posts, stories and Facebook ads sized for each platform
- Email headers and website banners
- Price tags and in-store signs
You can browse them in Canva’s Black Friday templates. Free accounts get most of them, and Pro unlocks the premium ones and one-click resizing for every platform.
Canva Alternatives Worth Checking
If you came here because Canva Pro feels expensive, a few design tools do run Black Friday sales. My list of Canva alternatives compares them, and the Black Friday deals for designers page tracks this year’s discounts on design apps, fonts and stock.
Canva Black Friday FAQs

No. Canva didn’t discount Pro or Teams for Black Friday in 2024 or 2025. In December 2025 it charged new customers half price for the first 3 months of monthly Pro or Business.
How much is Canva Pro?
Canva Pro costs $18 a month or $144 a year in the US for one person. Canva Business costs $25 a month or $250 a year per person.
Does Canva Pro have a free trial?
Yes. Canva Pro has a 30-day free trial for new users, with AI features limited to the free plan’s allowance during the trial.
Can students get Canva Pro for free?
K-12 students get it free through Canva for Education when their teacher or school signs up. College students get it free only if their school buys Canva for Campus.

Not for new customers. Canva Business replaced Canva Teams for new sign-ups on October 30, 2025, at $250 a year per person.

Should You Wait for a Deal?
If you’re holding off on Canva Pro for a Black Friday price, I wouldn’t. I’d start the trial today, use it for your own Black Friday designs and keep the yearly plan if it earns its place.
The Canva Pro trial is free for 30 days.
