Lenovo laptops cost more this year than they did last Black Friday. Lenovo let its old price quotes expire on January 1, 2026 and raised prices to cover memory chip costs, even after stockpiling extra memory for the year.
That makes last year’s prices hard to beat. A Lenovo LOQ with an RTX 5060 sold for $899.99 at Best Buy last Black Friday, while the 2026 LOQ launched at $1,299. A big percentage off this year can still cost more than last November.
On November 27, I’d measure any Lenovo laptop deal against last year’s sale price for the same configuration. Lenovo’s crossed-out prices often sit far above what its laptops actually sell for. Last year’s Lenovo prices, this year’s changes and my targets follow.
Lenovo Laptop Prices Right Now
Lenovo.com prices change almost daily with eCoupons, so these are the reference points worth holding on to:

Neither of those is what you should pay. An RTX 5060 LOQ Essential was on sale for about $1,200 at Best Buy in October 2026. The RTX 5080 Legion Pro 7i sold for $2,449 at B&H in mid-2026.
Black Friday 2025 vs 2026
Lenovo started early last year. Its Black Friday sale, called Deal Days, was already running by October 29, 2025, and retailers cut Legion and LOQ prices again on Black Friday itself. These were the best prices:

The gap is widest on the cheapest gaming laptops. An RTX 5060 LOQ costs about $300 more on sale this October than it did last Black Friday. The RTX 5080 Legion Pro 7i is only about $200 above last year’s low.
What’s Pushing Lenovo Prices Up
Lenovo’s 2026 prices come from the same memory shortage hitting every laptop maker, plus a couple of Lenovo-specific details:
Memory chips. Lenovo felt the memory squeeze early. It told customers that its quotes would expire on January 1, 2026, TrendForce reported, and its CEO later told Reuters it was raising prices to offset surging memory costs.
The stockpile didn’t keep prices flat. Lenovo built up about 50% more memory inventory than usual to get through 2026, as PCWorld reported, and still raised prices. PCWorld noted that most of the PCs Lenovo plans to sell this year hadn’t been built yet when it raised prices.
Memory is still getting more expensive. Analysts at Jefferies project memory prices 40% to 50% higher in the third quarter and another 30% to 40% up in the fourth. That leaves little room for Lenovo to cut list prices this year.
Tariffs matter less than they did. The IEEPA tariffs were struck down on February 20, 2026, but Lenovo’s prices didn’t drop, because memory had already become the bigger cost.
What to Expect This Black Friday
Lenovo’s 2026 dates aren’t out. Its early sale was live by late October last year, so here’s what I’m watching for:
- Likely: an early Lenovo.com sale weeks before Black Friday, with extra eCoupons on Legion, LOQ, Yoga and ThinkPad laptops.
- Likely: Best Buy and B&H matching or beating Lenovo.com on Legion and LOQ laptops, as they did last year.
- Possible: an RTX 5060 LOQ near $1,000 and an RTX 5080 Legion Pro 7i near $2,250 again.
- Unlikely: an RTX 5060 LOQ back at $899.99.
For each pick below, my target sits within $100 to $200 of last year’s Black Friday low. In a year when nothing is getting cheaper, that is the realistic deal.

The Lenovo LOQ is the budget gaming laptop to watch. It’s Lenovo’s cheaper gaming line below Legion, built for 1080p games at high settings.

- Black Friday 2025 price: $899.99. Target this year: $1,000 or less
The 8GB of video memory makes it a 1080p laptop. Buy it for that job and it is the best value Lenovo makes for games.
Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10
The Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 is Lenovo’s high-end gaming laptop, with a 240Hz OLED screen and an RTX 5070 Ti, 5080 or 5090.

- 16-inch 2560×1600 240Hz OLED screen

Amazon US listings for this laptop come from resellers at far higher prices. Lenovo.com, Best Buy and B&H are where its Black Friday prices showed up last year.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x
The Yoga Slim 7x is the everyday Lenovo I’d buy for long battery days, with a bright OLED screen in a thin 14-inch body.

It runs Windows on Arm. Most apps work, but some games with anti-cheat and older drivers for printers or scanners don’t, so check your must-have apps first.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is the Lenovo for work, travel and long typing sessions, with the best keyboard in Lenovo’s range.
