Black Friday is a massive shopping event among all the shopping events of the year. During the end of November, when the Black Friday sales are on, you will be able to purchase your desired gadgets and electronic devices at discounted prices never before. All devices, including laptops, TVs, and gaming consoles – but most importantly, Apple devices will be available at discounted rates.

Black Friday originally started out as a one-day price-cutting event in the US, but it has subsequently grown to become more of a highly popular weekend-long discounting party.

In fact, in recent years, it has lasted even longer, with some retailers starting the festivities even earlier and putting up exclusive deals at the beginning of November.

Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t take an active part in such sale events. Apple decreases the prices only if a new product of theirs is to launch or the older products are about to leave the market.

Black Friday event doesn’t offer much discount either. Thus it is next to impossible to find Black Friday deals on Apple products such as iPads, iPhones, Apple Watches, and AirPods at the company’s website or local stores. However, third-party retailers generally offer discounts on Apple products throughout the entirety of Black Friday.

In this article, I have provided a broad overview of everything you need to know about Apple Black Friday 2024, what products I expect to go on sale, and what kinds of deals you should watch out for.

Apple Black Friday 2024: When is it?

Black Friday is the Friday that comes immediately after Thanksgiving; thus, in 2024, the Black Friday sale will officially begin on the November 29. And, of course, Cyber Monday will soon follow on the December 2.

However, it is important to mention that I have been seeing retailers start their Black Friday sales early in recent years, with most of them offering deals of some sort as early as October.

In the previous year, I noticed that the best Apple Black Friday deals were available closer to the weekend itself; nevertheless, many of the biggest discounts came up the week before. Since it is not an exact science, after all, I advise you to have a budget ready in your mind beforehand. Later, when you see an Apple Black Friday deal that fits your bill, go for it before it vanishes right in front of your eyes.

The Highlights of Last Year's Apple Black Friday Deals

Let us now take a look at the choicest deals that were available during Apple Black Friday 2023 last year. I’m expecting to see such and more of the best Black Friday Apple deals during Apple Black Friday sale 2024 as well.

Apple iPad

In 2023, I witnessed some truly amazing Apple Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals with a discount of $50-$100 off the relatively new iPad line-up. Now that the new iPad Pros and iPad Airs have arrived, I’m expecting to see a drop in the price of many other models – including the iPad Air and iPad mini.

Apple MacBook

Back in 2022, I was quite surprised to see Apple's M1 MacBook discounted by up to £107 by certain retailers. Nobody was expecting to see such a lavish deal on a newly released laptop; however, it was certainly nothing to complain about! I was even more astonished to see history repeating itself with the 2021 MacBook Pro Apple that had been released just a month before the Black Friday sales.

In fact, 2023 witnessed savings of up to $100 on both models, which admittedly might feel like a drop in the ocean compared to their overall price. However, since these devices are so new and so highly in demand, any discount on them was certainly most welcome. While I’m not sure whether Apple has any more laptop releases in store for this year, I do hope that the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air Black Friday discounts continue.

Apple AirPods

I saw a large number of discounts all across the AirPods range in 2023, including $20 off AirPods Pro. In fact, if you have been looking forward to buying some Apple headphones, then Black Friday has always been proven to be one of the best times do so. Now that more models are available, I expect to see even bigger and better AirPods deals during Apple Black Friday 2022.

Apple Watch

Now that there are 8 versions of the Apple Watch available (the most recent one having been released in October 2022), I was not surprised to see deals on older models during the Black Friday sales. And I must say that they were, at the very least, quite impressive.

Even the Apple Watch Series 6 had some really cool discounts ($50/£50) on specific models on Amazon, and the new Series 7 had a few decent offers running for a while as well. I also saw some great savings on the Apple Watch Series 3, with Very in the UK bringing down the price to merely £169.

Apple iPhone

When it comes to the iPhone, the kind of discount you can get is determined by the country you are in and the carrier and contract you want to go with. In 2021, I saw some deals on the newly released iPhone 13 – which obviously meant that bigger and better deals on older models were coming.

Expected Apple Black Friday 2022 Deals

Like the previous year, I am expecting to see all of Apple’s most recent gadgets go on sale during Apple Black Friday 2022. Hopefully, there will be some contract deals on the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, as well as modest savings on the older iPhone 13 Pro.
