AI Tool Deals and Coupons for Writing, Video, Images and Meetings

AI tool deals for writing, video, presentations, meetings and images, compared by plan, usage limit and renewal cost.

AI tool deals are harder to judge than ordinary software discounts because the price isn’t the whole cost. Most AI plans meter something (credits, minutes, seats or model access), and the cheap tier often leaves out the model or allowance you wanted in the first place. A 50% discount on the wrong tier still gets you the wrong tool.

So I check 3 things before any discount: what the plan includes, how its usage limit resets and what it costs after the first term. The directory below lists current AI tool offers by job, from annual-billing discounts to free plans worth starting on.

Compare AI Tool Plans

Most AI tool discounts are annual-billing discounts. That’s real money saved, but it’s also a year paid upfront, so compare the regular monthly price with the annual deal and ask whether you’ll still use the tool in month 10.

A free plan is the right starting point for most of these. Grammarly, Gamma, CapCut and Sapling all have one, and a week of real use tells you more than any feature list. Pay once the free limit is actually stopping your work.

How to Buy an AI Tool Without Wasting the Plan

Before upgrading, find out how the plan measures usage. These are the 3 setups you’ll see, and they cost very different amounts over a year:

  • Monthly credits that reset: common in video, image and presentation tools. Check what one credit buys, such as a minute of video or one image, and whether unused credits roll over.
  • A one-time credit pool: some free plans and lifetime deals give a fixed number of credits that never refill. Once they’re gone, you’re buying credits or upgrading.
  • Bring your own API key: the tool is cheap or lifetime-priced, and you pay the model provider separately for every request. Your real cost depends on how much you use it.

A lifetime deal on an AI tool is only as good as the allowance written into it. Vendors pay for every generation you run, and when that cost goes up, some of them add new limits to old lifetime plans. If the deal page doesn’t state the monthly allowance clearly, assume the limits will tighten later.

For heavy-generation tools like video and image generators, I’d start on a monthly plan and switch to annual only after 2 months of regular use. For tools where AI is one feature among many, like a writing assistant inside your editor, an annual plan or a lifetime deal carries less risk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are lifetime deals on AI tools safe?

They’re safe when the deal states a fixed monthly allowance and the vendor has been around long enough to honor it. They’re risky when the allowance is vague or unlimited, because generation costs the vendor money every time you use it. Check the usage terms and the refund window before buying.

Is an annual AI plan better than monthly?

Annual plans usually cost 20% to 50% less per month, but you pay for the year upfront. Take the annual plan once you’ve used the tool regularly for a month or two. Before that, a monthly plan costs more and protects you if the tool doesn’t fit your work.

Why do AI tool prices and limits change so often?

The models underneath keep changing in cost and capability, so vendors keep repricing plans and credits. A plan that included a model last quarter may move it to a higher tier this quarter. Check which model and allowance the plan includes on the day you buy.

Do AI tools offer free trials?

Most do, either as a free plan with limits or a time-limited trial of the paid plan. Use the free tier on real work first, and pay when the limit is what’s stopping you.

Start on the free plan, upgrade the tool you keep reaching for and buy the annual deal only for that one. Software discounts in other categories are on the WordPress deals hub.
