    1.0.0-beta.1

Core Tables 1.0.0-beta.1 includes the full 0.2.0 dataset/Sheets workflow and adds readable chart axes and exact values on hover.

This is a beta release. Requires WordPress 6.9+ and PHP 8.3+. Back up the database before upgrading; preserve AUTH_KEY for encrypted connections. Version 0.2.0 is retained for rollback.

Validation: PHP/static/JS checks, 19 unit tests, 246 integration checks, ten concurrent-write races, and actual chart/editor/public browser workflows. No additional accessibility certification or customer pilot is claimed.

Delivery verified: GitHub and FluentCart serve the same 213,314-byte ZIP (0609084ee3086de812637960d2351f6f4b1a9124cfeb953c297e8b93d2cf1611). The licensed updater returns 1.0.0-beta.1 with a direct signed R2 package; invalid activation receives no package. A real WordPress bulk upgrade from 0.2.0 passed with maintenance mode active. The temporary verification license was removed, and the 0.2.0 artifact is retained for rollback. All six release CI jobs passed.

    • Automatic X/Y labels from selected public columns, numeric/category ticks, and currency units.
    • Point and bar values on hover, focus, or touch, including signed and zero values.
    • Matching editor previews, nearest-point selection for dense lines, and native titles when JavaScript is unavailable.
    • Existing public-data boundaries, missing-value gaps, all-row display, and data-table alternatives remain intact.

Requires WordPress 6.9+ and PHP 8.3+. Back up the database before upgrading; version 0.2.0 adds revision indexes and source/job tables while retaining existing datasets and publications. Preserve WordPress AUTH_KEY to retain access to encrypted connections.

The product remains early access. Google Sheets uses a customer-managed service account. Full assistive-technology certification, automated personal-data detection, and unsupported external-cache invalidation are not claimed.

Validation: PHP/static/JavaScript checks, 19 unit tests, 237 integration checks, 10 concurrent save/publication races, and actual Block Editor/public table workflows. The prior 0.1.1 package remains available for rollback.

Delivery verified: GitHub and FluentCart serve the same 203,617-byte ZIP (e7c5c8fcc947e291119f27c36083871351469f2fa00774e6bfd9e3a4b71261cf). • Connect a Google Sheet with explicit column mapping, encrypted credentials, draft review, refresh scheduling, pause/resume, cancellation, and retry status.
    • Search and browse all accessible datasets, restore older revisions, and manage retained history or permanently delete reviewed datasets from Trash.
    • Use typed filters, rich cells, line/bar charts, and optional public CSV exports.
    • Choose datasets in a focused dialog, adjust presentation in the native Styles tab, and keep dataset editor actions visible while scrolling.
    • Pagination and CSV buttons default off. Without pagination, all published rows are displayed. Enabling pagination restores page controls; downloads also require dataset-level permission.

Core Tables 0.1.1 is an early-access update focused on the Block Editor. Core Chart now selects a usable category and numeric value automatically for existing blocks without explicit mappings. Table and chart previews use native WordPress editor controls and quieter table styling.

The package retains the accessible chart data-table alternative, dedicated dataset tables, shortcodes, and opt-in AI Abilities/MCP support.

Early-access limits: 500 rows, 30 columns, and 2 MB per dataset; bar charts only. Google Sheets sync, line charts, and automatic cache purge are not yet available.

Core Tables 0.1.0 is the first early-access release. It stores reusable datasets in dedicated WordPress tables and publishes searchable, responsive tables through Block Editor blocks or [coretable id=123] shortcodes.

This release includes CSV and HTML table imports, rich text and Media Library image cells, public-column controls, appearance settings, bar charts with table alternatives, saved revisions, recoverable Trash, six permission-checked WordPress abilities, optional MCP exposure, and a FluentCart-bound licensed updater.

Early-access limits: 500 rows and 30 columns per dataset; 2 MB per import or snapshot. Google Sheets sync, line charts, and automatic full-page cache purging are not included. Purge a page cache manually if it retains old table HTML after publishing or trashing.

Requires WordPress 6.9+ and PHP 8.3+. The plugin continues to render installed tables when a license is inactive; protected updates and support require a valid license.

Validation: PHP 8.3 and 8.5 source CI passed on the tagged commit. The package passed 98 dataset integration checks and 21 licensing checks on a disposable WordPress 6.9 installation, plus 13 PHPUnit tests (38 assertions).

    • Replace the separate browse/search/select fields with a focused dataset chooser and a compact selected-dataset summary. Keep server-side search for larger libraries.
    • Simplify block toolbars, group table controls and chart mapping, and move appearance controls into the native Styles tab. Reflect row spacing, borders, and striping in previews.
    • Default pagination and the table CSV download button to off. Explicit switches enable them. Without pagination, display all rows; Rows per page appears only when pagination is enabled. Shortcodes use pagination=yes and download=yes.
    • Preserve dataset-level export permission, published-only previews, safe downloads, and no-JavaScript pagination when enabled.
  10. Alpha

    • Simplify the dataset dashboard with clearer names, source metadata, quiet row actions, and labeled mobile rows.
    • Keep draft/publication actions visible while editor tabs scroll; show draft, published, and unsaved states beside the dataset name. Group public CSV settings with columns.
    • Put Sheets status and refresh actions first, with expandable connection settings, grouped mapping controls, and readable refresh history.
    • Move publication/retention and activity into expandable sections after revision history. Show publication failures inside the confirmation dialog.
    • Extend the bundled Tabler outline icons from the local icon library. Preserve native WordPress controls, system typography, theme accent colors, and frontend rendering.

    • Refresh Sheets immediately, cancel queued or running jobs, pause/resume schedules without reconnecting, and see pending-job updates and last-success timing.
    • Permanently delete reviewed datasets from Trash after CSV export and typed confirmation. Remove history and credentials atomically while retaining redacted anti-replay tombstones.
    • Preserve the loaded page after failed requests and improve pagination status/focus handling and repeated-embed labels. No additional accessibility audit or publisher pilot is included in this scope.
