The Lilavati (pronounce: Līlāvatī, original: लीलावती) is Indian mathematician Bhaskaracharya’s (aka Bhāskara II) treatise on mathematics, written in 1150. It is the first volume of his main work, the Siddhānta Shiromani, alongside the Bijaganita, the Grahaganita and the Golādhyāya. Lilavati mainly deals with elementary level puzzle problems in arithmetic.
