White Holes

White Hole

Einstein proved through mathematics about the existence of black holes. It was a root changing and amazing concept as I consider. From the advances in technology, we now have been able to find several black holes, and believe one to be at the centre of our very own Milky Way galaxy. What is astonishing me, is what Einstein also proved through his equations that white holes also exist. The exact opposite of black holes, white holes are believed to “spit out” an incredible amount of matter from seemingly nothing. Such an object should be easy to find, yet none have been found so far. If one was found, it may help us explain other unknown mysteries, such as where the material that made the galaxy came from?

Dark Matter

Dark Matter

A typical galaxy contains much more matter than what we can actually see. In fact, the visible portion of a galaxy represents only about 5 to 10% of total mass of the galaxy. Many studies lead us to define the conclusion that the Universe abounds in matter that we cannot see. This unseen matter is called Dark Matter because either it does not emit light or its light emission is too dim for us to detect.

Normal matter, such as STARS, PLANETS, DUST and MOLECULES , is often called Baryonic Matter because its mass is primarily due to the combined mass of the protons and neutrons, which are combinedly called Baryons, it contains. The mass of electrons is neglected because the mass of an electron is so small relative to the mass of a proton or neutron. Some of the normal matter such as burned out stars and dim interstellar gas, is part of the dark matter in a galaxy.

However, according to various calculations, this dark normal matter is only a small part of the total dark matter. The rest is called Non Baryonic Dark Matter because it does not contain proton and neutrons. What it contains? We know only one member of this type of dark matter…..the neutrinos.

The World’s First Robot with Conscience

AlSoy

Spain has designed the world’s first robot with its own “CONSCIENCE” and Life, which will “entertain, teach and be a companion” to humans who purchase it.
The AlSoy 1, which went on the sale in August, is the first social android developed by spanish firm AlSoy Robotics, which is Now bringing its creation out of the laboratory. “IT ALMOST SEEMS LIKE SCIENCE FICTION, BUT IT’S A REALITY”, said Diego Garcia, one of the FATHERS of the robot and head of ALSOY’s product engineering and development division.
At 25cm in height and weighing 1.5kg, AlSoy 1 was conceived to entertain and provide company to the user, but its main objective is “To Live, just like any other being that SENSES, has emotions and makes decisions.”
